About Filmi Shortfest
``Filmi Shortfest`` is a golden opportunity for aspiring Indian filmmakers brought to you by ``Filmi Jobs``. All the filmmakers who acquired phenomenal filmmaking talent can participate in our event. Those shortlisted films will be screened at preview theater one day prior to the event and all will be reviewed by the jury based on originality, creativity, plot, pacing and structure, acting, dialogue, cinematography, editing, and message effectiveness. Best of the Talent will be Rewarded by the Jury and Celebrities on the Event day.

Our Vision
FILMI SHORTFEST envisions becoming a premier short film festival that brings together filmmakers from across the nation. Our vision is to provide a transformative platform for filmmakers to showcase their talent and amplify their voices through the medium of short films. We aim to curate a festival that goes beyond screenings by offering filmmakers the opportunity to listen and learn from the finest minds in the industry, gain inspiration, build valuable connections for collaborating on future projects.
Process of Participation
Register on the website and pay the registration fee of 1500/- + GST (18%) before the deadline of 10th August 2023 . Special Student Offer Available !
Fill out the registration form with necessary information .
The competition guidelines for themes and genres to registered user only via E-mail only.
Submit your film as per the technical requirements and guidelines as described in rules and regulations provided before the event deadline which is 17th August 2023.
The top entries will be selected by the judges and invited to Mumbai for the film screening at the preview theatre one day prior to the finale which will be held on 25th August 2023.
